NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A 20-year-old man wanted for a carjacking Monday morning in the parking lot of an Antioch shopping center has been added to the state's Most Wanted list.

Tyler Raybon-Tate allegedly carjacked a woman outside the Kroger in the Shoppes at Hickory Hollow on Mt. View Road at Bell Road around 8:45 a.m.

According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Tate jumped inside a woman's vehicle before forcing her out of her SUV. The victim was not injured.

Tate took off in the victim's vehicle, a 2012 red Ford Escape, and was last seen traveling on Interstate 24.

Police said they believe Tate may be tied to a burglary that occurred in La Vergne on Friday.

Tate is around five feet, 10 inches tall and weighs around 180 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Authorities said Tate is a convicted felon with a criminal history that dates back to 2007 for felony assault, aggravated burglary, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism, among other charges.

He was most recently charged with criminal homicide in Nashville in February.

Tate is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest.
