Police arrested a 19-year-old man for an armed robbery and kidnapping that occurred late last month.
According to a police affidavit, Carl Howse, armed with a silver handgun, approached the victim outside his home on 7th Avenue North last Monday night, June 24.
Howse demanded the victim drop his wallet, cell phone and car keys and then forced him to drive him to a nearby ATM.
There, Howse ordered the victim to withdraw $600, saying he had 30 seconds to do so or he'd shoot him.
After withdrawing the money, the victim dropped off Howse at a nearby intersection and he fled the scene on foot with the cash, the victim's cell phone and wallet.
Thirty minutes later, Howse was caught on video surveillance using the victim's debit card at the ATM machine at Bud's Market.
He was identified through further investigation and arrested after the victim positively identified him in a photo lineup.
Howse was charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated kidnapping and evading arrest and booked into the Metro jail.
His bond was set at $110,000 bond.
