Landscaper robbed at gunpoint in Mt. Juliet

MT. JULIET, Tenn. -

Police are investigating after a landscaper was robbed at gunpoint in Mt. Juliet on Tuesday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 2 p.m. on Boxcroft Circle at Boxcroft Court.  

The 20-year-old victim reported to police he was mowing when he was approached by the men.

Authorities told Nashville's News 2 the suspects demanded his headphones before a struggle broke out. One of the suspects is said to have fired a single shot.
No injuries were reported.

The suspects, two black males in their early 20s, are said to have fled the scene in a late model tan Jeep Grand Cherokee.

One of the suspects has long hair and was last seen wearing a black shirt. The second man was wearing a green shirt at the time.

It is also believed the pair burglarized the victim's vehicle prior to the robbery.
