Sounds' Rob Wooten named to PCL All-Star team

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Sounds closer Rob Wooten will be headed to Reno for the 2013 Pacific Coast League All Star game.

The 27-year-old right-hander is tied for 2nd in the PCL with his team-leading 17 saves and has posted an 0-1 record and 2.40 ERA (12er/45.0ip) in 33 relief appearances for the Sounds.

He has struck out 41 batters in 45.0 innings and has only surrendered nine walks. 

The 2013 AAA All-Star Game will be broadcast live on television on MLB Network and the Armed Forces Network as well as on the radio on 102.5 FM "The Game" at 6 p.m.
