CARTHAGE, Tenn. -

A community is coming together Saturday to honor a Smith County family that lost four members in a tragic house fire three weeks ago.

Four people, including two children, died on June 9, after their Carthage home went up in flames.

Investigators ruled the fire as accidental.

Saturday, a benefit concert and bake sale will be held at the Smith County Heritage Museum located at 107 Third Avenue East in Carthage.

The event runs from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. and tickets cost $10.

The benefit is being held to assist the surviving members of the family with costly medical expenses.

If you would like to donate to the family, the Wilson Bank and Trust is accepting donations through the ‘Hull Avenue Carthage Fire Fund'.
