NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

The case against a teen accused of murdering another teen earlier this year has been transferred to adult court.

Eric Goodner, 17, was arrested in early May for the shooting death of Pearl Cohn High School student Johnathan Johnson.

Johnson, 17, was shot April 11 as he walked to the bus stop in the 1900 block of 10th Avenue North near Clay Street.

A judge Friday afternoon transferred Goodner's case to adult court and set his bond at $1.5 million.

Goodner is charged with criminal homicide and could face life in prison.
