Elizabeth "Leigh" Garner was arrested in March 2013.
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -
A November trial date has been set for a former Titans cheerleader arrested earlier this year on charges she inappropriately touched a 12-year-old boy.
Elizabeth "Leigh" Garner, 42, is accused of soliciting the boy for sex and touching him inappropriately during a party in Murfreesboro in February.
According to police, Garner was drinking at the juvenile's home when she followed him into a bathroom and asked him if he had ever been with a woman before grabbing his private parts on the outside of his pants.
Authorities said Garner also tried to take off the boy's shorts and said she wanted to perform oral sex on him.
The victim was able to escape and tell his mother.
Garner told police she was intoxicated and mistook the boy for another man that was also at the home at the time.
Garner was a cheerleader for the Titans in 2008, making headlines for making the squad at the age of 38.
In court late Friday morning, a judge set a pre-trial date for October 11 and a trial date for November 12 after both sides could not reach an agreement on a plea.
She faces one count each of aggravated sexual battery and solicitation of a minor for rape of child.
