A repeat offender has been arrested for a series of burglaries and identity theft.
Police say that Joshua Atwood committed a string of burglaries from the Uffelman Estates subdivision in Clarksville and used the victims' credit cards.
Atwood was apprehended in the Memorial Drive area after breaking into a vehicle at the YMCA on Hillcrest Drive Thursday morning.
Atwood was in possession of a child's backpack, which he obtained from the YMCA vehicle, as well as property from the Uffelman Estates burglaries.
He was charged with two counts burglary and six counts identity theft and booked into the Montgomery County Jail. It was his sixth arrest in the last 13 months.
