NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Police are looking for the man who robbed a Jack in the Box in south Nashville Tuesday morning.

According to police, the man entered the restaurant on Capital Funds Court near Murfreesboro Road with a chrome-plated gun, yelling at employees.

The suspect then jumped over the counter and hit two employees with his gun before forcing them to get on the floor.

After assaulting the employees, the suspect took as much as $1,000 from the restaurant and fled.

The witnesses are unsure if the man fled on foot or in a car.

Police told Nashville's News 2 that the suspect is a black male around six feet tall.

Police also believe this could be the same man that robbed a Sonic in the same area last night.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
