Man accused of killing orthodontist wife faces additional charges

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Randolph Maidens, the man accused of murdering his orthodontist wife in their exclusive Governors Club home in April, surrendered Thursday for additional charges.  

He is charged with two counts of tampering with evidence and child neglect. He is expected to post a $10,000 bond.

Maidens bonded out of jail on his previous homicide charge last week after his bond was reduced from $2.5 million down to $750,000 on May 23.

The 42-year-old being held at the Williamson County Jail for shooting his wife, Dr. Rachael Maidens, a popular Brentwood orthodontist.

Arraignment on the case is scheduled for 9 a.m. on June 25.
