A 42-year-old man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly threatened a man who was doing yard work with a pocketknife.

According to police, Carlos King became upset with the victim, identified as Robert Sikes because he was weeding eating near a road.

The victim reported to police he adjusted his technique before King got out of his vehicle and threw a beer bottle at him. Sikes was able to dodge the bottle and reportedly told King to get in his car and leave.

King then pulled out a pocketknife and held it in a threatening manner.

Sikes said he used his weed eater to put distance between himself and King before the suspect grabbed the lawn equipment from him and threw it to the ground, breaking it.

King was quickly taken into police custody.

He is charged with vandalism and aggravated assault, among others.
