In Middle Tennessee the Nashville National Weather Service investigated two areas of damage today.

At the first, 3 miles southeast of Thompson Station, it was estimated that there were straight line winds up to 75 mph.

Numerous large trees were uprooted near Summit High School.

The second location was 3 miles west-southwest of Bell Buckle, where it is estimated that 70-75 mph winds uprooted numerous large trees on Minkslide Road.  There was also damage to out buildings and some damage to a few houses.
