Fire breaks out at vacant home

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Crews were called to a fire at a vacant home in Madison Tuesday morning.

The fire was reported around 9 a.m. at a residence in the 2300 block of Neelys Bend Road.

Officials said firefighters faced a few challenges in battling the blaze including getting water to the burning home.

Authorities added no one lives at the home and electricity was not connected.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

No injuries were reported.
