Storms a concern for CMA Festival Sunday

A line of showers and thunderstorms are moving towards Nashville at this hour. The rain could affect the Country Music Festival currently taking place at LP field in Nashville.

We are monitoring the thunderstorms closely, lightning is always a concern.

The line has already triggered a severe thunderstorm warning in both Humphrey's and Houston counties Saturday evening.

Strong winds and hail are possible anywhere along the line of unsettled weather.

The line should arrive at LP field between 10:00 and 10:10 p.m. So far, there are only a few lightning strikes within the thunderstorms.
