Fundraiser to raise money for teen critically injured

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. -

The Montgomery County community is coming together on Monday to raise money for a teen that was critically injured in a head on collision in May.

On Thursday, May 16, 17-year-old Kylie Eastin and friend 15-year-old Ashley Travis were hit head-on by a suspected drunk driver as they drove to school.

The fundraiser planned is to help Travis and her family pay for costly medical expenses.

Ashley Travis is still is at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, while Eastin is recovering from her injuries as well.

Monday's fundraiser will be from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Montgomery County Court Complex in Clarksville.

There will be a bake sale, silent auction and plate lunches.
