NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A minor fender bender turned into a serious altercation Saturday at the Burger King located at 2305 Murfreesboro Pike

An affidavit reports that the fender bender led to a verbal argument. The verbal argument then escalated.

Sussanne Gehle was standing in front of the car being driven by Ardia Baker following the argument.

Baker allegedly moved her car forward to get Gehle to move. Baker's vehicle made contact with Gehle's legs forcing her to put her hands on the hood of the vehicle to brace herself.

Baker allegedly hit the gas again knocking Gehle to the ground, causing her to hit her head.

Police reported that Baker had scuffmarks on her clothes and received minor injuries.

An employee at Burger King witnessed the altercation and verified the victim's story.

Baker denied hitting Gehle on purpose, and was taken into custody without incident.
