NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A little rain didn't slow down hundreds of music fans from coming out to the CMA Music Festival Friday.

Darryl Worley kicked off the music early at the Riverfront Stage and over a half dozen artists followed throughout the day.

Jo Dee Messina wrapped the free concert up on the river.

The festival offers more than country music to fans. Si from the hit reality show "Duck Dynasty" made a surprise appearance giving out sweet tea snow cones.

Carla Hall from ABC's "The Chew" did cooking demonstrations for fans and Derek Hough from "Dancing with the Stars" also made an appearance.

Tonight's LP show is sold out. Stick with News 2 for all of your CMA coverage.

The CMA Music Festival continued on the big stage at LP Field with Gloriana, Randy Travis, Kip Moore, Little Big Town, Hunter Hayes, Lady Antebellum and Blake Shelton.

Friday night also included a special appearance from Sheryl Crow.

Crow joined Little Big Town, and Jason Mraz joined Hunter Hayes.

The 42nd CMA Music Fest continues in downtown Nashville through Sunday.
