Motorcyclist injured in Nashville crash


A motorcyclist sustained non-life threatening injuries in an accident in Nashville late Thursday morning.

The crash occurred around 11:15 a.m. at 1021 2nd Avenue South.

Witnesses reported to police the motorcyclist was traveling inbound on the roadway when he was cut off by another motorist as they approached Layfette Street.

Authorities said the motorcyclist's brakes locked up before the driver struck a guy wire.

The victim, whose identity was not immediately released, was transported to an area hospital.

No additional information was released.
