Man accused of killing orthodontist wife bonds out of jail

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. -

The man charged with murdering his wife inside their upscale Brentwood home has bonded out of jail.

Randolph Maidens bonded out on Tuesday afternoon after his bond was reduced from $2.5 million down to $750,000 on May 23.

Maidens was being held at the Williamson County Jail for shooting his wife, Dr. Rachael Maidens, a popular Brentwood orthodontist.

A condition of his release requires Maidens to wear a monitoring device. He will receive the device on Tuesday.

Upon his release, Maidens will not be allowed to travel outside of Williamson or Davidson counties, he is not allowed to possess firearms or obtain or possess a passport.

Maidens is also prohibited from coming into contact with the victim's family members.

Arraignment on the case is scheduled for 9 a.m. on June 25.

Randolph surrendered into police custody on the grounds of the Governors Club April 22 after authorities searched the community for nearly 12 hours.
