Two wrecks slowed traffic on Interstate 65 in both directions Monday morning in Madison.
The first crash happened just after 6 a.m. along I-65 north at mile marker 94.
Officials told Nashville's News 2 a Lexus clipped the front of a delivery truck. The driver of the Lexus lost control of the vehicle and made contact with a semi-truck, causing them to crash into the inner retaining wall.
Three people in the Lexus were transported to a local hospital for non-critical injuries.
The second crash happened minutes after along I-65 south, about 100 yards from the first wreck. Three vehicles were involved in that crash. No one was injured.
Traffic was affected in both directions. Three northbound lanes were blocked while crews worked to clear the wreck. One southbound lane was blocked while they waited for a tow truck.
