Nashville's News 2 is partnering with Metro Nashville Animal Care and Control with the goal to find some loving animals good homes.
Each week we will feature one or more pets that are available for adoption.
This week, we are featuring three dogs and two cats.
Yin, a two-month-old Shar Pei, is looking for a new home. His five sisters are also at the shelter with him.
Two-year-old Diamond is a German Shepherd. She is 55 pounds.
Diamond was brought to the shelter with her twin sister, Stable, and the two pups would like to stay together. So, if you have a large enough heart for two healthy German Shepherds, give the shelter a visit!
Her keepers suggest a family with a large backyard adopts Raquel.
Rex is a one-year-old tan Basenji mix and is 28 pounds.
Rex is sort of square, he admits, being as long as he is tall, but he can climb just about anything! Sure, playing and climbing is fun, but he loves to snuggle, too.
Kitty, 6, is a black male domestic cat with medium hair.
Helen, a two-month-old tabby kitten doesn't even weigh two pounds yet!
Helen just wants a home that is safe, secure and big enough for her to stretch out in. She's also a big fan of chasing flies and crickets.
Eight-month-old Buttercup loves to chase anything that scurries across the floor.
This calico cat is known for her sweet personality.
Buttercup is approximately five pounds and has medium hair.
