A 76-year-old man has been arrested after his son accused him of beating him with a baseball bat for drinking the rest of the chocolate milk.
Clarksville police arrested William Suiter, 76, on Thursday.
According to authorities, his 46-year-old son, David Suiter, called police saying he and his father had been involved in a verbal altercation because his dad was angry at him for drinking the rest of the chocolate milk.
The report states that the argument grew more intense and that his father hit his bedroom door with the baseball bat hard enough to leave a hole in the door.
At that point, authorities reported that the elder Mr. Suiter went back to his own bedroom and his son opened the door to ask him what was wrong.
David told police that his father then started chasing him around the house with the baseball bat.
While David called 911, his dad allegedly hit him with the bat several times.
911 Operator: "Hello, this is 911."
William Suiter: "Yeah get over here, this guy is crazy. He kicked my door in."
911 Operator: "Do you know who he is?"
William Suiter: "It's my son. I hit him with a bat."
911 Operator: "Ok, hold on."
William Suiter: "I believe I broke his arm."
Clarksville police arrived shortly after and officers witnessed David run from the home while Mr. Suiter chased him with a shotgun barrel.
David had severe injuries on one of his arms and hand. He was treated on scene by EMS, but refused to be transported to the hospital.
Mr. Suiter was taken into custody.
According to public records, it isn't the first time he has been arrested for domestic assault. He was accused of a similar crime last May.
