Driver charged with vehicular homicide by intoxication
LEBANON, Tenn. -
Murfreesboro and Lebanon police arrested a former high school football player for a deadly crash that happened in February.
On February 10, the Lebanon Police Department responded to a single vehicle crash that claimed the life of 21-year-old Megan Carter of Mt. Juliet.
Carter was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Tacola Seay, 21, of Murfreesboro.
On Saturday in Murfreesboro, Lebanon officers, along with officers from the Murfreesboro Police Department, arrested Seay on charges resulting from the crash investigation.
Seay faces one count of vehicular homicide by intoxication; one count of vehicular homicide by recklessness; one count of DUI; one count of DUI with blood alcohol content over .08; and one count of driving on a suspended license.
