BRENTWOOD, Tenn. -

After an ongoing standoff, a man barricaded inside a Brentwood home has surrendered peacefully to authorities.

The incident began around 5:45 p.m. Wednesday on Alamo Road near Moores Lane and Wilson Pike.

According to responding officers, a domestic conflict began when a man allegedly made threats towards his wife after an argument. The woman was able to escape unharmed before the man, whose identity was not immediately released, barricaded himself inside the home.

Police told Nashville's News 2 they made contact with the man, who they had an arrest warrant for, around 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

No injuries were reported.

Additional information is expected to be released later Thursday.
