LAWRENCE COUNTY, Tenn. -

The search for a missing Lawrence County man is now a murder investigation.

According to the Columbia Daily Herald, authorities suspect foul play in the case of a missing man found Saturday.

Robert Davis, 46, of Pulaski didn't show up to work on May 3, which caused suspicions early on.

His body was found Saturday nearly 30 miles away from his home in the area of Bryant Boswell Road in Lawrence County by search volunteers.

Davis' truck was found four days later on Wisdom Road, discovered in an area that wasn't close in proximity to his body.

Police have two people in custody and are questioning them.

Charges are expected to be filed this week.
