A 17-year-old girl was killed in a single vehicle accident Thursday night in Warren County. According to authorities, Ashlyn Barnes was a passenger in a Chevy Blazer that was traveling west bound on Vervilla Road around 8:45 p.m. The Tennessee Highway Patrol reported the SUV traveled off the left side of the roadway, before tearing down a barbed wire fence and striking a large tree head-on. Four others were injured in the accident.
Authorities said Barnes and three of the injured victims were not wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
