2nd annual Mayor's Field Day held Saturday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Mayor Karl Dean hosted the Second Annual Mayor's Field Day with the Tennessee Titans Saturday at LP Field.

Families with children five and older were invited to join Dean and the Titans for a morning of fitness activities and games.

Because of forecasted rain, most activities took place inside the stadium concourse.

Free ponchos were distributed for on-field games.

The annual Mayor's Field Day is designed for families and individuals of diverse fitness levels.

Attendees enjoyed creative games, a fitness fair and the chance to meet and interact with Tennessee Titans players and T-Rac.

Mayor's Field Day 2013, featured a zip line, inflatable obstacle course, Mars Pet care dog obstacle course and an educational fitness fair, among many other activities.

All activities were free for participants.

Tennessee Titans that made an appearance were: starting center Fernando Velasco, wide receiver Michael Preston, defensive end Scott Solomon, running back Collin Mooney and linebacker Thaddeus Gibson, along with Titans mascot T-Rac.
