Columbia police searching for endangered runaway

Columbia police are seeking information on a teenage girl who escaped legal custody of a local residential youth center.

Kenosha Shanta Wilson, 18, has been missing for than a week after escaping through a bathroom window.

Police have listed Kenosha as an endangered runaway.

She is described as a black female with brown hair and brown eyes. She is five feet, two inches tall and weights 150 pounds.

She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with black lettering and a stain on the front, right shoulder. She also wore black cargo pants and pink tennis shoes, and had long fingernails with hot pink polish.

Her destination is unknown, although officials said she has family in Memphis and might be headed that way.
