A woman who was found shot at a Murfreesboro home early Sunday afternoon has died from her injuries.
Authorities said the shooting occurred just after 1 p.m. at 2506 Gold Valley Drive, the same residence where a man died of a self-inflicted wound on Saturday morning, April 27.
The female shooting victim, identified as 30-year-old Tangeneika Wardlow, was transported to Middle Tennessee Medical Center where she died.
Other police reports indicate that the man who was found dead on Saturday was Wardlow's boyfriend, and after his death, Wardlow called police to report phone harassment.
Wardlow told authorities that her deceased boyfriend's ex-girlfriend was sending harassing texts. The report states that the ex-girlfriend was "insinuating that she killed" him.
Police then responded to the residence of the deceased man's ex-girlfriend who said that Wardlow was harassing her over the phone as well.
Wardlow was then found dead on Sunday.
Police said detectives have identified a suspect in Wardlow's shooting death and will be obtaining murder warrants.
No additional information has been released.
