Rumor prompts lockdown at Pearl Cohn H.S.

A rumor prompted a lockdown at Pearl Cohn High School Thursday morning.

School officials told Nashville's News 2 the lockdown was initially put in place after a text message related to the shooting death of a Pearl Cohn student was received.

Johnathan Johnson was shot on April 11 moments after he left his home to walk to the bus stop.

The suspect, identified as Eric Goodner, remains at large.

The lockdown was lifted around 11 a.m.
