NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A jury has convicted a man of reckless homicide after striking a man with his car and dragging him for more than two hours.

Raymundo Rodriquez is convicted for the killing of 23-year-old Manuel Lucio-Lopez in March 2011.

The two men were at Club Bucanas on Nolensville Pike in the early hours of March 19 when they got into a fight.

Lopez struck Rodriquez and was thrown out of the club. Rodriquez then left the club, got into his SUV and ran over Lopez at a nearby gas station parking lot.

Lopez became pinned under the SUC and Rodriquez continued driving for more than two miles up Nolensville road and then onto Antioch Pike to Southlake Drive.

Rodriquez finally came to a stop and tried to get Lopez out from the under the SUV and was barely alive with police arrived. Lopez died shortly after.

Rodriquez will be sentenced for his conviction on May 24.
