2 injured in Joelton school bus wreck

JOELTON, Tenn. -

Two were injured after a vehicle hit a school bus loaded with children in Joelton Wednesday morning.

The accident was reported just before 8:30 a.m. on Greer Road at Hidden Trails Drive.

Officials told Nashville's News 2 that two people were injured after a vehicle drove down a hill and crashed into the school bus.

Initial reports indicated the car was pinned underneath the bus and people were trapped.

Several emergency crews responded to the scene.

Six students were on the bus at the time of the accident. It wasn't immediately clear who was injured in the crash.

The bus was on its way to Joelton Middle School.

No further details were immediately released.
