NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Metro police believe they caught a man suspected of burglarizing a sandwich shop Friday morning.

The burglary was reported around 3 a.m. at Rae's Sandwich Shop on Union Street in downtown Nashville.

According to police, the suspect broke a window to make his way inside. The owner said the register was empty but the suspect made off with change in the gumball machine.

The owner told Nashville's News 2 he wasn't surprised his shop was burglarized since a neighboring business was recently broken into.

Officials reviewed surveillance video to develop a suspect description.

Police told Nashville's News 2 a possible suspect was taken into custody after 6 a.m.
