Warrant obtained for arrest in attempted Kmart shoplifting

SMYRNA, Tenn. -

Police have identified a couple wanted for attempting to shoplift a Kmart in Smyrna.

The incident occurred on April 8 at the retailer located at 333 North Lowry Street.

Police reported after the pair entered the store they placed several electric razors in a bag and attempted to flee the store without paying for the merchandise. Once confronted, they fled.

The female suspect is a juvenile, and the man has been identified as 38-year-old Richard Hartman of Cheatham Avenue in Smyrna.

Warrants have been obtained for Hartman's arrest.
