11-year-old arrested for breaking into south Nashville home

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Metro police are investigating after an 11-year-old allegedly broke into a south Nashville home early Monday morning.

The break-in was reported just after 2:30 a.m. at a home in the 2600 block of Rascoe Road near Glenrose Avenue.

Officials told Nashville's News 2 an 11-year-old boy went into the home through an unlocked door.

The homeowner detained him until police arrived.

No further details were immediately released.
