A Robertson County woman continues her search for her daughter and granddaughter who have been missing for nine years.
Jennifer Wix and her three-year-old daughter Adriana disappeared from their Cross Plains home in March of 2004.
Jennifer reportedly had gotten into an arguement with her boyfriend before her disappearance.
"The wound, the pain, everything is still just as fresh to me today as it was nine years ago," said Kathy Nale.
She continued, "Some days I do feel like giving up and not continuing to push on and try to bring all the awareness and stuff, but then I stop and say I can't do that. That's the same thing as giving up on Jennifer and Adriana and I can't do that, I can't give up on them ever."
On Saturday, an annual motorcycle ride through Robertson County will be held in honor of Jennifer and Adriana.
The Chain of Hope ride begins at K-Mart in Goodlettsville and ends at the Springfield Walmart.
Registration for the event begins at 11 a.m. with kickstands up at Noon.
There's no charge to participate but Nale said donations are appreciated.
Nale added the Robertson County Sheriff's Department has put a new investigator on the case.
She said she hopes a fresh set of eyes might find something that leads to her girls.
"It's not technically cold, that they still do have little tips and leads come in but nothing that's been concrete to further the case at all," Nale explained. "I believe with all my heart that someone knows what happened to Jennifer and Adriana and the more people who see them, the more people who know about them and hear their story, that's how we're going to find out."
Anyone with information about Jennifer or Adrianna Wix's whereabouts is urged to call the Robertson County Sheriff's Office or 1-800-THE-LOST.
