Man builds meth lab inside tour bus

Roger Boisseau, 39 Roger Boisseau, 39

A Murfreesboro man is accused of building a meth lab in his backyard.

Police reported that they smelled a strong chemical odor coming from a residence in the 1300 block of Tune Avenue.

The odor was coming from inside a 1984 Silver Eagle tour bus that Roger Boisseau, 39, was living in behind his father's house.

Boisseau's father allowed authorities to search the premises since he owned the property.

Upon investigation, police reported that they found a trash can with a plastic bag inside that was smoking from a chemical reaction.

Inside the bag, authorities found items related to the manufacture of meth.

Authorities then searched inside the bus and found more items related to the manufacture of meth, along with meth itself and what police described as a felony amount of marijuana.

Police reported that Boisseau admitted to being the owner of the items once arriving to the scene.

He was arrested and charged with initiation of meth, possession of schedule II and III drugs, among other charges.
