Man stabbed with broken beer bottle at night club

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Metro police are working to identify the person responsible for stabbing a man at an area night club early Sunday morning.

The incident happened just before 3:30 a.m. at Cielo Night Club near Old Hickory Boulevard and Nolensville Pike in Antioch.

Authorities said a 24-year-old male was stabbed in the neck with a broken beer bottle.
    
The victim was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are still looking for the suspect and are looking through surveillance video from the night club to identify him.
 
Officials believe the stabbing may be gang-related.

Anyone that has information on the incident is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
