Easter is on Sunday but one man made it his mission to draw attention to Good Friday.
Good Friday is a day when Christians commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
A viewer called Nashville's News 2 to tell us about a man walking in the rain, carrying a large wooden cross on his back.
When we caught up with Pat Garr on Lebanon Road in Mt. Juliet he had already walked three miles.
"This holiday kind of gets forgotten. You know you just kind of get up and go to work and nothing else is thought about it. Everybody thinks about Christmas and Easter, but Good Friday, I think just kind of gets over looked. I just want people to remember when they see it," explained Garr.
Garr has not done this before, but says he would do it again.
He told us the response from the community has been positive.
One man shook his hand, while another pulled over on the side of the road to show respect.
