73-year-old Lewis County man arrested for wife's murder

LEWIS COUNTY, Tenn. -
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrested a 73-year-old Lewis County man for the murder of his wife on Thursday.
James Hobbs is accused of running over his 69-year-old wife, Janice Hobbs, with his vehicle on Highway 99 West during an ongoing domestic dispute which originated at their residence located in the 700 block of Gaither-Hinson Road.
Janice Hobbs died as a result of her injuries Wednesday.
James Hobbs is charged with first degree murder.
The couple owns the Buffalo River Canoe Rental in Lewis County.
