NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Metro police are searching for the driver who hit a pedestrian in downtown Nashville Thursday morning.
The incident occurred just after 1 a.m. in the 100 block of Second Avenue North.
Officials told Nashville's News 2 the pedestrian was struck by a dark green Toyota car.
The victim received minor injuries.
Officials say there could be minor damage to the driver's side mirror.
The driver fled westbound on Commerce Street.
No further details were immediately released.
