NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Metro police recovered more than $5,000 worth of equipment stolen overnight from a Murfreesboro Pike business during a traffic stop.

Police stopped a Ford Focus after officers saw Gilberto Ramirez run a flashing red light on Haywood Lane around 2 a.m. Wednesday.

During the stop, police noticed a generator and several boxes of window tint in the backseat. A BB pistol was also discovered.

While speaking to police, officers determined the three occupants inside the car had just burglarized Precision Window Tinting.

Police also recovered a second generator, car stereos and a flat screen TV inside the car's trunk.

Ramirez and Ricardo Najera-Castillo were arrested on charges of burglary and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Ramirez was also charged with running the red light and driving without a license.

A 15-year-old in the car, who is believed to have served as the lookout during the burglary, was booked into juvenile detention on charges of burglary, theft and curfew violation.

Ramirez remains jailed in lieu of $13,500 bond. Najera-Castillo is being held in lieu of $12,000 bond.
