Barking dogs alerts couple to fire

ROBERTSON COUNTY, Tenn. -

A Robertson County couple is crediting barking dogs for alerting them of an overnight house fire near a travel trailer they were sleeping in, the Tennessean reported.

The fire broke out around 2:30 a.m. in the 2000 block of Liebengood Road.

The family was living in the camper on the property while the home underwent renovations.

The home is considered a complete loss.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
