An 18-year-old has been arrested for shooting another teenager on Friday night in south Nashville.
Authorities reported that around 9:30 p.m. Noel Hernandez-Vasquez shot one of his acquaintances in the parking lot of his own apartment complex at 200 Paragon Mills Road.
At the time of the incident, 18-year-old Gustavo Valencia-Gonzalez was walking through the apartment complex when Hernandez-Vasquez allegedly drove up and exited a black SUV armed with a handgun.
Police said he told Valencia-Gonzalez, "I heard you were looking for me," before shooting him three times in the arm, leg and foot.
Valencia-Gonzalez was transported for Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he was treated and released.
Hernandez-Vasquez is charged with aggravated assault and is being held in lieu of $150,000 bond.
