BRENTWOOD, Tenn. -

Celebrate the luck of the Irish and help support 42 Middle Tennessee step dancers this weekend.

The Irish step dancers from the Kristin Butke Studio in Brentwood will be competing in the World Irish Step dancing competition at the end of month.

Only the top 15% of dancers are invited to compete.

The studio will send 13 solo dancers, four dance teams and a dance drama team ranging in age from six to 18 to Boston for the competition.

The dancers are holding a Fundraiser on St. Patrick's Day to help with travel expenses.

The World Irish Showcase will be held at St. Henry's Catholic Church March 17 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The evening will include dinner and performances by the world qualified dancers.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for ages 13 to 17, $5 for ages six to 12 and kids under five are free.
