Man arrested after throwing knife at roommate, lighter fluid on man


A 24-year-old man accused of allegedly throwing a knife at his roommate and lighter fluid on another man last month was taken into police custody on Tuesday.

According to WGNS Radio, Stephen Kelly is alleged to have thrown the knife at his roommate because he believed someone had stolen his prescription medication.

During the incident Kelly is said to have thrown lighter fluid on another man who was inside the apartment unit at the time.

According to police, Kelly is said to have told the man "he would light him on fire."

Upon calling police, Kelly fled the scene.

He is charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.

Kelly has since been released on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on April 18.
