Serious accident slows traffic near Nashville airport

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Crews are on the scene of a serious accident in south Nashville Thursday morning.

The accident was reported just before 8 a.m. in the 2800 block of Lebanon Pike, near Donelson Pike.

The people were injured in the crash. Officials said one person was trapped in a vehicle.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area while crews investigate.

No further details were immediately released.
