Skunk forces evacuation at Mt. View Elementary School

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Mt. View Elementary was evacuated Tuesday morning after an unusual odor was reported at the Antioch school.

The school located on Murfreesboro Pike was evacuated just before 11 a.m.

Officials told Nashville's News 2 the odor was caused by a deceased skunk behind the school. Animal Control was called to assist with the incident.

Students have since returned to class.

No additional information was released.
