HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions North America has been recognized by "Project Finance Magazine" for its outstanding work in 2012. The US subsidiary of HOCHTIEF Solutions received the prestigious awards in two categories: The Presidio Parkway project in California took the "North American Transportation Deal of the Year", while the HOCHTIEF team was honored with the "North American Developer of the Year" award.

The official award presentations took place on Thursday, March 7 during a ceremony at Cipriani Wall Street Center in New York City. The trade journal for the infrastructure sector has been presenting the awards for 14 years. A jury made up of the magazine's editors and industry representatives evaluates nominated projects in various categories using criteria such as innovation, replicability and best practices.

Peter Coenen, Senior Vice President of the HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions segment, and Steve Skelton, President of HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions North America, accepted the awards in New York. "We are very proud and honored. In Presidio Parkway, an outstanding PPP project in North American transportation infrastructure has been recognized," Skelton said. Coenen thanked the PPP team for its excellent work: "Last year, the HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions North America team won three new projects and successfully completed two others."

Apart from Presidio Parkway, the company developed the Northeast Anthony Henday Drive road construction project, and a schools project in Alberta, Canada involving a total of twelve educational facilities. Two projects were successfully commissioned: ten schools in Alberta and 18 new police facilities in the Province of Ontario.
