NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Fire crews responded to a home on Donna Hill Pike around 11 p.m. Saturday night.
Greg Spring, a captain with the Nashville Fire Department, said someone called them about a backyard fire at their neighbor's home.
Spring told Nashville's News 2 when crews arrived, they saw flames coming from the back of the home.
Spring said when firefighters approached the home, they noticed more than a dozen partygoers.
"The house had several residents, partiers, inside the home. They were circling our fire personnel, the scene became unsafe."
Spring told Nashville's News 2 their officers called for a "code 5000", which means personnel in danger.
Firefighters did eventually put the fire out.
It is illegal to have an open burn in Davidson County.
Spring also said two people were arrested and one person was transported to Metro General Hospital.
